Lift chair controller not working well
Urgently needed to replace recliner controller so chair could be used. Requested callback from phc-online 12/28/20. Called phc 12/29 x2. Called Golden customer service 12/29 and 12/30. At all calls asked for urgent shipping at my expense. When talked to Golden 12/30 after 30+ minute wait, asked for specific assurance item had been shipped. Was told it had been shipped. UPS had no tracking # and explained that was generated by shipper. Conclusion: not only had Golden failed to ship. It would appear they lied about it.
User's recommendation: Deal with a different company which cares about its customers.

DIt took. Me at least 45 minutes to find a telephone number for you then 30 minutes to get a human after getting disconnect 3 times then there told me to call the retail store that I bought the 2 reclining chairs from I did and after 3 days they still havent returned my call.

Called the 800 number regarding warranty claim. E-mailed photos of product date code labels, as requested by CS rep. In the 7 days since, they did not acknowledge the mail, and have not heard back in any way.
User's recommendation: May be unresponsive after they have your money.

Lift chair controller not working well
Hand Control stopped working. Called the business where we purchased the chair. They told me to call Golden Technologies. I was told they would call back. No call! I finally contacted someone who told me they could not send me a new controller. I had to call a local repair shop. They told me I had to bring in the chair and they would charge me $80 to look at it! After a number of further calls, a company said they would order the part from Golden Technologies! After 2 weeks we finally got the controller, $109! Why couldnt Golden Technologies just send ME the controller instead of GT telling me to call another company to call GT to send the controller to the local company for me to pick up? It was a very uncomfortable two weeks without our lift recliner!
User's recommendation: Ask lots of questions, do lots of research before you buy anything and document everything!

Need a call to give me part number for controller of lift chair PR404-MED-SPC...Medicare came out and they could not find the part number so they told me to get it and call them back this part is under warranty and I need it as soon as possible my sister has a fractured back and is in desperate need to use her lift chair

The outer material of this $1200.00 chair is of very poor quality. After my using this chair for about one year, I noticed that the outer material had begun to peel off (Please see the attached photos). I ignored the problem for a while. However, the problem got worst and worst. I finally contacted Golden Technologies. Its representative suggested that I replace the damaged outer surface with new material at the cost of $600.00 - $900.00. I asked if they would give a discount since the problem was due to poor quality of material. They would not discount the replacement. I have had another recliner for about 15 years, which costed about 1/3 the cost of this Golden chair. It has not peeled in any way. Therefore, my suggestion and conclusion are, its better to buy a cheaper recliner, because a more expensive recliner does not mean better quality.

I have a new 240 golden scooter with power seat lift ! Since the first month of ownership , I terry Mcknight have called more than 25 times for repair! I can’t believe nobody cares , I really need my scooter each day to function! I keep getting people that rather make promise and than break the promise I’m sick and tired of this lip service ‘ 717 917 **** is my cell Terry

New scootor problem
Pleasently suprised when they called.me back and said they would ship the part direct to me next day. Then did not shop for about 4 days then did not ship to me as was stated but sent it to my home 350 miles away. Now expected to arrive at my home in three more days. Then will supposedly be sent to me where it was originally stated. Hope I have time to use it as planned on my vacation.

Seat won’t come off my companion 340 scooter
My seat will not come off. I was told by the tech that it evidently was a vet scooter. I’m not a vet?. I’ve tried to do what both techs said to do. Still won’t come off. Need to change the batteries

Golden sells inferior products at inflated prices. My chair has left me in the lurch 3 times in three years.
